What's Your Office Like?
It’s where the magic happens! Okay, maybe only a small bit of magic and a lot of hard work. In any case, I like to think it’s comfortable and a place where you can kick back and share what’s on your mind.
There’s two comfy chairs to sit in, soft tissues, lots of natural light during the day, and the best part - there’s a coffee bar. I’ve got my priorities straight! I’ll always offer you a coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or a bottle of water. I even have mints to get rid of coffee breath.
I turn my phone off and shut the door so we can focus completely on our conversation together without interruption.
Giving You Personal Attention Is My Priority
I value personal attention and make sure my clients always receive it. I book session times specifically for you and I will always start your session on time.
I don’t have a secretary or a billing specialist and I’m the only one who ever sees your file and personal information. I answer my own phone calls and voicemails so no matter which option you choose when you call, rest assured that you’ll always speak directly with me.
Unless I’m in session, I do my best to answer phone calls and emails as they arrive. I also try to get new clients in within one week of contacting me. I think it really stinks when you get up the nerve to call a therapist only to find out that you’ve got to wait a month to see them. Who has that kind of time to waste when you’re itching to get in and starting working?!
Confidentiality & Community Presence
I live and work in the same community I serve and I sometimes see clients when I’m out and about. While I’m always happy to say hello when I see you in public, I’ll never approach you or let on that I know you unless you say hello first. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to me and I will always respect it and take my cue from you. If you’re comfortable with seeing or talking to me in public, please feel free to come up and say hello anytime.
